We are well known for our long-established lists on the autism spectrum, social work, and arts therapies. We also publish extensively in the fields of mental health, counselling, palliative care, practical theology and gender diversity.
What you’ll be doing
We’re seeking a temporary Marketing Executive to join our friendly and dynamic marketing team for 4 weeks. This role involves supporting the team on a variety of projects and running campaigns to promote our books on education, SEN and teen mental health.
- Running targeted email campaigns using Campaign Monitor
- Social media promotions, including Facebook advertising and twitter
- Sending review copies to specialist press contacts
- Copywriting for flyers, emails, blog posts and social media
- Designing flyers
Who we’re looking for
Experience / skills required:
- Marketing experience across the full mix, including on- and offline campaigns
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong, targeted copywriting
- Ability to independently manage workload to deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Adobe InDesign
- HTML desirable
What we offer
An opportunity to gain insight into specialist publisher marketing and add to your existing knowledge and experience. You will be working with a small, friendly team in Central London near King’s Cross. The rate of pay is £14.00 an hour, and this is a 35 hour working week.
