What you’ll be doing:

Orion are looking for a Publishing Operations Director to work across our publishing teams to keep books on schedule, keep costs down and report on, and suggest, process improvements. You’ll monitor and report on key editorial costs, oversee the publishing schedule and critical path, ensure text and covers are kept on track and help to balance editorial workloads.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with a calm manner and strong sense of attention to detail. You’ll have thorough knowledge and experience of managing schedules, managing people and problem solving. You will ideally have five years+ experience in publishing, with good knowledge of all editorial and book production processes. Being a good communicator and highly organised is essential.
